Bird Watching: Keep on the lookout for more than 50 species of birds throughout the year. The Bataviakill Creek, which runs throughout the length of Windham, also is home to numerous wildlife including birds, beavers, woodchucks, and deer.
Creek Walking: Bring an old pair of sneakers, good balance and not minding getting wet for this old-fashioned Catskill Mountain activity. The water level differs throughout the summer and you might even be able to creek walk up to the next town. You have the opportunity to be apart of Nature first-hand. There is calm water lake fishing, sparkling-trout creek fishing or bass fishing in the Hudson River. Windham connects with it all.
