In those days the town was called Osbornville later to be changed to Windham. The Osborn House changed hands many times over the years and had been sadly neglected. The former glory and good foundation of the house was still apparent and Susumu and Rebecca began renovations shortly after 9.11.

Several additions were added and decorative accents and furnishings were personally handpicked. They oversaw all aspects of the work as well. This absolute labor of love was completed in 2004 and the Inn was named “Beds on Clouds”. Each room has a different cloud motif,; like Sunrise Clouds and Sunset Clouds to name just a few. “Beds on Clouds” expresses Windham’s phrase “Land in The Sky”.
